Guided Frequency Imagery
Guided frequency imagery seeks to make beneficial physical changes in the body by repeatedly visualising them. A form of mind-body therapy, it has been advocated for a number of chronic conditions, including stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, and headaches, and for people undergoing conventional cancer therapy or surgery.

Also known as creative imagery, mental imagery, or creative visualisation, guided frequency imagery aims to assist you in focusing your mind on constructive images and, in so doing, work changes in your physical body. It is sometimes used along with other mind-body techniques. Unlike its cousins meditation and hypnosis, guided imagery does not ask you to focus your mind on a single word or image, though instead takes you on a journey through several visualisations. Some practitioners have described it as a "focused daydream."

As with other mind-body techniques, guided frequency imagery is based on the presumption that your mind is capable of affecting the functions of your physical body.
